Today I learned that one of my dearest friends is having a little girl. Since I can't be with her to celebrate, we'll have a little virtual celebration for Friday Finds. When I saw these darling felt shoes over on
Duet Letterpress, I couldn't get them out of my mind. I know they're a bit spendy, but what are Aunties for but introducing a girl to shoes early? They really inspired the rest of the collection. It's a bit girly and my inner feminist doesn't want to pigeon hole the unborn into a gender trap so early, but something about the butterflies are calling to me as a symbol of new life beginning. Besides, a little pink and purple never hurt anybody. :)
